Calgary ground conditions
Heavy clay, chinooks, deep frost and spring runoff cause most of the driveway, culvert and foundation problems we fix.
Heavy clay
Clay holds water and swells. We strip it out, drain the site and build on compacted gravel.
Chinook freeze–thaw
Warm winds melt snow, then it refreezes overnight. We grade so water drains off before it turns to ice.
Deep frost
Water lines and footings go below the frost line, to the depth your plans call for.
Spring runoff
We size culverts and ditches for the spring melt so water stays off your driveway.

Do you take small jobs?
Yes. From one culvert or a driveway touch-up to full acreage site prep. A minimum charge applies to cover moving equipment.
What affects the price most?
The size of the job, the soil (clay and rock take longer), how easy it is to get machines in, and whether dirt or debris needs to be hauled away.
