What we do
- Tree and brush removal
- Stump removal
- Rock picking and rock piles
- Fence line clearing
- Building site and driveway clearing
- Debris piled for burning, or hauled away
What we clear
We plan where the debris goes, keep the topsoil you want to keep and leave the ground smooth.
- Building sites: the footprint, driveway and yard, ready for pad prep or excavation.
- Acreages and pasture: brush, willows, aspen and old fence lines.
- Rocks: picked from fields and yards, and old rock piles moved or buried.
What happens to the trees and brush?
You choose. We can stack debris in piles for you to burn, or haul it all away. Hauling costs more, but you are left with nothing to deal with. In most counties you need a fire permit to burn brush piles, so check with your county first.
Nesting season matters
Federal law protects nesting birds. In Alberta, nesting season runs from about mid-April to late August. We check for active nests and, where we can, plan large clearing jobs for fall and winter.
Clearing in winter
Frozen ground carries heavy machines without rutting, there is less mess, and there are no nesting birds to work around. Many landowners book clearing for late fall and winter, then build in spring.
How much does land clearing cost per acre?
Clearing one acre of moderate tree cover, with debris piled on site, runs about $6,500–$8,250 + GST. Light brush costs much less.
Every site is different. Soil, access and how far material has to travel all change the price. Try the cost estimator for your project, then we will confirm it with a free written quote.
Often booked together
Customers often add Excavation & Grading, Shop & Building Pads or Gravel Driveways to this job. We can quote and schedule them together.
